Lucknow: Kaisarbagh police arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a theft case and recovered a stolen car along with jewellery, a wristwatch, a bowl and five parts of a Canon camera, police said.
The action was carried out under the direction of West Zone Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Dhananjay Singh Kushwaha. A police team led by Kaisarbagh Inspector Anjani Kumar Mishra arrested the accused and recovered the items from his possession.

The arrested man has been identified as Shuaib alias Rehan, 23, originally from Bahraich and currently residing in Barabanki.
According to police, the accused admitted during interrogation that he had stolen an i10 Grand Nios car from the Kaisarbagh area. Police said the investigation subsequently led to the addition of Section 317(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) to the case.

The recovery includes the stolen i10 Grand Nios, jewellery, a wristwatch, a bowl and five Canon camera components. Police are examining the recovered items as part of the ongoing investigation and are also verifying the accused’s possible involvement in other theft-related incidents.
Following the arrest and recovery, police initiated the required legal proceedings. The accused is being produced before the competent court, while further investigation into the case remains underway.
